Dr. Joselyn Arcelin is a general medicine physician with more than 11 years of experience providing compassionate, patient-centered primary care. He earned his medical degree from Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago and completed his internship at HIMA Fajardo in Puerto Rico. Dr. Arcelin’s passion for medicine began long before medical school. Growing up in Haiti, he witnessed firsthand the challenges many families faced in accessing healthcare. After seeing his mother suffer a stroke related to uncontrolled high blood pressure, he was inspired to pursue a career focused not only on treating illness but also on preventing it through education and early intervention. Dr. Arcelin is committed to helping patients live longer, healthier lives through preventive care, chronic disease management, and evidence-based medicine. He believes that building strong relationships with his patients is the foundation of exceptional healthcare and strives to create an environment where every patient feels respected, comfortable, and confident in their care. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, exploring local parks, staying physically active, and trying new restaurants. He is an avid reader and enjoys playing the piano. He is also active in his local church, participating in community outreach and medical mission opportunities that reflect his commitment to serving others.
